Over the weekend, I had the honor of coordinating Tyler’s surprise proposal to Jenny at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool in Lincoln Park, Chicago. The Lily Pool is one of the most beautiful and intimate locations in the city, known for its natural stone architecture, waterfalls, and quiet garden atmosphere—making it a favorite spot for surprise proposals in Chicago.
The original plan was to propose near the main structure inside the Lily Pool. However, with a higher number of visitors enjoying the space that day, Tyler made a quick decision to shift to a more private and natural location right at the entrance pathway. This adjustment allowed us to maintain the intimacy of the moment while still capturing the beauty of the surroundings.
Everything came together seamlessly. Jenny suspected a proposal might be coming, but she was still overwhelmed with emotion the moment Tyler got down on one knee. Before he could even finish asking, she was in tears. Of course, she said yes.
